Skelton Parish Council : Grass Cutting 24/25 Season

Damage to Grass Verges : Residents are asked to help
Discussion took place at a recent Parish Council meeting over the reported damage to the grass verges along Church Lane and on other roads throughout the village.

Report speeding and Skelton Community Speed Watch Campaign
The Parish Council had a recent visit from the Traffic Management Officer of North Yorkshire Police in response to the Council expressing concerns with reported incidents of speeding traffic through the village and down the 30mph Moorlands Road suspected to be mainly through traffic from the A19 to Wigginton/Haxby avoiding the usual congested A1237 ring road.

Dog fouling, an health issue and an unpleasant sight the Village could do without.
Skelton Parish Council have been made aware of incidents of dog fouling throughout the village, pond path, playground, open spaces and even on private driveways. Not only is this an unpleasant sight it is also an health issue which blights the character of the village.
