New seat in infant play area

Skelton Parish Council would like to thank all those parents and children who completed the recent playground survey questionnaire (keep them coming). There were many and varied suggestions on improving the play area and on providing new play equipment, some would be very expensive. The Council will give consideration to all the suggestions over time and will be considering applying for grant funding to provide new equipment including for SEN but this will take time.A number of returned questionnaires mention that there was no seating facility in the infant play area.Skelton Parish Council took this on board as a first action and are pleased to announce that an adult rainbow coloured seat, made from recycled plastic has now been purchased and positioned in the infant play area for adults to enjoy whilst watching their infants play on the equipment in the securely fenced play area.
