Skelton's Jubilee Celebrations
Thank you to everyone who came to our Jubilee Celebrations on Sunday 5th June.
We all had a very enjoyable afternoon.
Everyone worked very hard into putting this event together and special thanks to all our volunteers.
We are putting together a Platinum Jubilee Memory of all the celebrations over the weekend so any photos would be gratefully received.

Skelton Community Speed Watch Campaign
Calling Residents of Skelton, the Parish Council are looking to implement a
"Community Speed Watch" Campaign and we are looking for residents to become involved in the programme.

Mandy's Community Cafe
Mandy's Community Cafe will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm on the first Friday of every month in Skelton Village Hall.
Come along for soup, coffee, cake and chat.

Jubilee Tree
Today the Skelton Parish Council, led by Chairman Joe Watt and Councillor Chris Linfoot, planted a Liquid Amber tree in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in the pasture.

Installation of new play equipment
The new piece of play equipment, a viper swing, has now been installed. Skelton Parish Council was able to install the equipment thanks to grants from the City of York Community Challenge Fund as well as a top up grant from the Rural West Ward.
